We are excited to welcome Babette Dolfin, M.A., M.Ed., in the 3rd episode of the Edventure Training Series! Babette is an international speaker with over 25 years of experience in higher education. Based in The Netherlands, she has spent 17 years working with international programs, specializing in curriculum design, assessment, and teacher training. Throughout her career, Babette has coordinated and designed numerous educational programs, always with a focus on helping educators create environments that allow students to thrive—without overburdening teachers.

In this workshop, Babette will introduce participants to the concept of formative activities—simple, low-effort interventions that can be easily integrated into the classroom. These formative activities are designed to provide students with insights into their learning progress, helping them gauge how they’re doing as they move toward upcoming assessments or learning outcomes. At the same time, these activities offer teachers valuable feedback to adjust and improve their lessons, ensuring that they’re meeting students’ needs effectively.
